A long time has passed – almost a year – since our last post. Meanwhile we have improved and optimized our products. Let’s go straight to what’s new.
Hospitality: As customers, you already know that Travel Appeal Hospitality (formerly Index) has been completely updated and has now a new, more intuitive layout. The restyling was a long challenge, but we are very satisfied with the result: we have received great feedback from users, who said our product is by a great deal the best in the industry, as far as user experience is concerned. That said, making here a list of all Travel Appeal Hospitality new features would be long to write and boring to read. By simply browsing our website, or taking a look at our forthcoming tutorial pages you’ll be able to fully manage our tool.
You’ll find a brief summary of the most relevant innovations below:
- Rates Checker: Travel Appeal Hospitality monitors and analyzes your structure price list, relating it with Reputation and comparing your data with those of competitors. The survey is made by retrieving information from Booking.com, so this particular feature – you’ll find it on our dashboard – can be used only for structures that are present on this OTA.
- Positioning Map: where does your business sit in relation to your competitors? Through this widget – also present on our dashboard – you can compare your structure with those of your competitors, This useful feature will show you the strengths and weaknesses of your facility. You can pick two topics at a time among those analyzed by Travel Appeal Hospitality. Suppose you set “Pricing” and “Cleanlines” as the two elements to monitor, and suppose your structure turns out to be last in cleanliness and first in pricing: this would mean that there’s probably something wrong, and people in charge of the cleaning should do their job better.
- Report: many customers have expressed the wish to share information with their collaborators by printing it or by creating a PDF file. This feature is now available and enables you to create reports by adding any data. We’re at the moment expanding the report feature functions, so that it will soon become more useful than ever.
- Content translation: have you just received a review in Arabic? Don’t worry. Our tool is able to automatically translate user-generated contents in the language you selected. Just go to the “Content Manager” section and click the “Translate in Italian” button (if your selected language is Italian). You will immediately benefit from the translation provided by Google Translate.
We have also improved Travel Appeal Restaurants, except of course for those features on which we have no information, such as pricing.
In January – following our partnership with MiBACT -, we have launched the world’s first tool for monitoring museums Reputation.
And – last but not least – ,let’s talk about the restyling and improvement of our fourth product: Travel Appeal Destinations. We are actually working on it, according to the rules we have already introduced in Dublin, where our CEO first presented it last May (here’s the video!), during one of the most important European events in the hospitality industry sector: the Travel Innovation Summit, organized by PhocusWright Europe.
That’s all for now, but there will soon be new updates. Later this summer, we will launch some features that many of you have been expecting for some time now, and some unexpected functionalities that will forever change your actual idea of what a Reputation Manager is.
